Data FreeDrop Collects

FreeDrop collects the following categories of information:

• Identifiers: name, email address, mobile phone number, IP address, account credentials.
• Commercial Information: promotions you sign up for, redemption history.
• Internet / Technical Data: device information, browser type, cookies, log data, approximate geolocation.
• Google OAuth & Shopify Data: as described below.

Google OAuth Data Protection

Our application accesses the following Google user data:

• Email address
• Public profile information (name and profile picture)
• YouTube Access to check for subscriptions to be able to enter promos

How FreeDrop handles your Google data:

• FreeDrop does not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for purposes other than the ones provided below.
• Your Google data is only used for authentication and displaying your profile within our application.
• Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data.
• FreeDrop uses data encryption to protect your information.

How FreeDrop Uses Information

FreeDrop uses personal information to:

• Authenticate accounts and deliver service features.
• Send one-time passcodes and service-related alerts.
• Send marketing messages from FreeDrop (with your consent).
• Share your information with participating businesses when you sign up for one of their promotions so they can send you their own marketing messages.
• Improve and secure FreeDrop's platform.

Sharing of Information

Participating Businesses: When you register for a promotion, FreeDrop will provide your email and/or phone number to the brand(s) running that promotion. Those brands may then use your information for their own marketing purposes in accordance with their privacy policies.

Service Providers: FreeDrop may share information with vendors that provide hosting, analytics, customer support, or messaging services on our behalf.

Legal Compliance: FreeDrop may disclose information to comply with applicable law, enforce our agreements, to respond to a lawfully issued subpoena, or protect against fraud and security threats.

If applicable in your jurisdiction, our legal bases for processing include:

• Consent (e.g., receiving promotional communications).
• Contractual necessity (e.g., sending authentication codes).

• Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
• Request that FreeDrop stop sharing your information with affiliated businesses.

Data Retention

• Registration data (email, phone, account credentials): kept until you request deletion or 24 months after your last activity.
• Promotion data: kept for 12 months.
• Google OAuth and Shopify tokens: deleted upon account removal or uninstallation.

International Transfers

If you are located outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. FreeDrop implements safeguards to protect your data during such transfers.

Cookies

Cookies are small digital signature files that are stored by your web browser that allow your preferences to be recorded when visiting the website. Also they may be used to track your return visits to the website.

3rd party advertising companies may also use cookies for tracking purposes.

Google Ads

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads.

Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to sites they visit on the Internet.

Website visitors may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

Shopify Data Collection

FreeDrop apps collect the following Shopify store data:

• Store domain
• Access tokens for authentication
• Discount code information

This data is used to:

• Authenticate with your Shopify store
• Create and manage discount codes for promotional campaigns
• Track promotion redemptions

Data Retention:

• Store access tokens are retained until you uninstall the app
• Promotion data is retained for 12 months
